" Omdat zowel mijn vader plotseling aan een hartaanval is overleden op 64 jarige leeftijd , alsook de broer van mijn vader op ongeveer dezelfde leeftijd en ook geheel onverwacht . Zelf ben ik nu 61 dus heb er wel eens zorgen over . "

Home Consumer Solutions Worries about your heart Sensor ring

De sensor ring

sensor ring

The patient can wear the comfortable wireless ring just as a normal ring on the (left or right) index finger.

Through a wireless sensor built in the ring, the heart rate of the patient is being measured.

The differences in bloodflow are measured by means of subcutaneous (under the skin) IR reflection. This is translated into pulse / heart rate. The heartbeat is then transferred to the base station.

With the green button, on top of the ring, the patient can also send a direct message to his/her partner or caretaker, for instance in case of falling or for a refreshment.

The ring will work for about 13 hours on a full battery. When it needs to be charged an LED in the ring will start flashing. Charging can be done easily by placing it in the base station charging dock.
